Rooms and rates
The Stratford Heritage lodge has been operating as an accommodation venue for a few years but before that it was a convent of the Sisters of the Mission attached to the nearby St Joseph’s Primary School. Ross and Rosanne Barker and family also live on the premises in what was the nun’s lounge and dining, music room and first aid room.
The 7 guest bedrooms in the guest accommodation block can sleep up to 12 guests. Each bedroom has a vanity with hot and cold running water, towels, face cloths, TV with Freeview, and heaters in winter. Rooms 2 – 5 have sliding door which open into the garden.
Singles are $50 a night, bedrooms with twin singles from $60 and Queen bedrooms from $80
The entire lodge can be booked for Wedding, holiday or family accommodation . Normally $450 a night it can be discounted to $400 for bookings of 5 days or more.
