Our Newest Attraction

The Manganui gorge suspension Bridge

Just a 20 minute drive from Cadence BnB and a relatively easy 15 minute walk, this bridge is a must-do. What a striking way to view the mountain in safety. The well kept gravel path rises gently for 10 minutes to a viewing station where the 3rd photo was taken. After walking through the avalanch tunnel there is 5 minutes of flat rocky path that is sometimes quite wet. Walking poles would be of assistance. Then a wooden staircase of about 30 stairs with rails takes you the final step onto the bridge.
